So, long story short, i don't have family or any external financial support, lost everything/everyone last September. I'm a foreigner in the Netherlands and barely speak the language, and have been trying to stay afloat since. I'm from Eastern Europe.
I worked as a post delivery woman for like, 3 months during the winter and it fucking sucked horribly, and they underpaid me to shit.
Now I'm working at McDonald's, mainly cooking, and i really really like it. It gets stressful sometimes but i like it. Also if it's raining/snowing I'm inside and don't have to be outside. But one of the managers hates me, and has literally lied about my behaviour numerous times. That plus one actual dumb fuck up on my part means my contract won't be extended.
Anyway, in short:
-has to be a job that a 21y/o high school graduate can do
-has to be indoors (i swear having to bike in freezing rain carrying 40kg of mail is not something I'd like to do ever)
-doesn't involve too much speaking as i am really a total beginner at dutch
I also have a B driver's licence
So, what are my options?
I've applied to most restaurants, most supermarkets and most hotels by now. The economy right now is trash so i get a lot of 'we're having a lot of applicants so we aren't reviewing yours' type messages and I'm getting desperate, i just recently finally found my own place so I'd hate to not be able to afford to live 😅
