Should I accept an additional offer just in case the position falls through?

I will be graduating in May with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. In December I accepted an offer at one of the Big 3 automotive manufacturers in the US. I interviewed for another position around the same time and had not heard back from them until recently. After a few more interviews recently I had received an offer from a large aerospace firm. The acceptance of an offer is due by the end of the week and I have not made a decision yet.

The aerospace company is a company I have always wanted to work for but not in a location or position that I am super excited for. I would not mind working way up to another position in a few years. The aerospace company is offering 4% less salary when adjusted for cost of living. The automotive position is one where I will be developed as a new graduate and mentored whereas the other position does not have such a regimented training program for new hires.

I have been holding out due to the COVID-19 situation going on. I am suppose to start the automotive position in June. Is it unethical to accept the aerospace position in case the position at the automotive manufacturer was to fall through? What are your thoughts on this?
