I want to quit my job and my country's laws say that I have to give at least 10 days notice, however, because of the pandemic the team has been divided in two groups, group A goes one week and group B goes the other, I don't think the situation will change for at least two weeks. I have to work tomorrow and I thought it was the perfect opportunity for me to give my notice already but I don't know if I should just state my final date as of this upcoming friday (5 days after giving notice). Or next friday (the 10 mandatory days although I would not work for 5 of them so I don't know if my employer will agree to that). Or the friday three weeks from now (giving 10 days of work, but three weeks of employement). Should I write down a date at all or should I just state a date and leave in writting something along the lines of "or whatever works for you, employer" (obviously with formal language).
