So I'm wondering from yall if referrals make a lot of difference? I'm possibly up for a job after not having one for a couple months (thanks Covid19!). I was referred to the job by a buddy who moved on from the company, it's his old position. Do you think that recommendation carries any weight still? Or given the absolutely massive pool of candidates right now, they're not focusing so much on the referrals because their might be 10 people better in the candidate pool? Much appreciate any feedback!
