Hi, this is the first time I've stumbled upon this Sub and it seems a good place where to ask this: I'm 19, and I've been a high school dropout for the past 3 years now, with no job experience, or anything of the sort.
You may wonder why; well: 1) I live in a small town, in the hills, in the middle of nowhere. The only "available" employment would be working in the fields in some way, but the "farmer life" isn't something I'm interested in, or something I see myself doing. 2) Because of point 1, the only (maybe available) jobs I'd have a smudge of interest in, would be in nearby towns, which could only be reached by driving. As I'm 19, I've gotten my driving license last year (albeit with many obstacles in the way, mostly personal or caused by me), but I'm very, very insecure and uneasy about driving, as there's many risks I don't want to get involved into, and I don't have a car to begin with.
I'm currently living with my parents, but, I always talk about how I'd like to move abroad one day, because of the lack of...almost everything in the town I live in, and as I'm an up-and-coming streamer, I'd like to be self-sufficient in a way to be able to afford games to stream, and then grow there hopefully, but I don't really expect to rely on streaming for income alone for a solid while, so this is where I'm standing: As there's not much I can do physically, I'd like to know if me, a high school dropout, with no job experience, but a better-than-average IT knowledge, could find some form of small employment online, even if it is Game Testing or the like: I've tried applying for a service like that but I have yet to hear anything back from there, for months now.
I'd appreciate any help and any input that any of you may be able to give me. Thank you.
