How far out can I “reserve” a job after accepting the job offer?

I’m looking for a new job, and my local boardwalk is offering seasonal spring positions, just 15 shifts, with the bonus of getting 6 season passes. This sounds like it would be pretty fun, but I want to make sure I have a real job lined up before the end of this seasonal job. If I apply for another job and get accepted after starting the boardwalk job, how long can I ask this new job to wait before I can actually come in and start working? Is that even a thing?
