Alright so idk if this is the right area but I really need some help. So about 7 months ago I applied to geico to be a claims adjuster. Long story short I go through the process do great in all the interviews etc etc. I get to the roleplay portion which is pretty much the thing you do right before a job offer, and this is where things get messed up.
I do research but nobody really posts anything in detail about the roleplay. Everyone does say there is where like 85% of applicants fail and lose the job. I go into this roleplay and the person doing my roleplay is a gentleman that literally doesn’t seem to even want to be there. He walks me to this small room with a tiny table and says press the radio play button all the instructions are on the tape follow directions and walks out. Oh also there is about 10 packets of paper on this small desk.
Now apparently I didn’t do well enough because I obviously got the notice the next morning that I won’t be moving forward with a job offer. Now does anyone have any experience with this the job has opened up again and I really want the position because it’s a nice entry point for claims with a good salary and benefits.
Can anyone give me advice on this damn roleplay and what they are expecting because I’d really hate to get all the way there again and just fail again because the expectations aren’t put out at all. This is the biggest complaint I’ve read is that the roleplay is conpletely bs and nobody knows what we are even supposed to know or do you are kinda just thrown into a scenario and expected to be able to do the imagonarely situation job.
