Bad vibes at interview today

Today during my interview I noticed potential red flags and I wanted to see if other Reddit users have seen these before or I'm just over-reacting.

So to start with I'm working with a contracting company. The hiring manager that wanted to interview me was out sick previously, which I get. But both the contract company and myself assumed he would be in the office today. Which he wasn't. So another manager from the same department did the interview and this is where I noticed some potential problems.

  1. I was in the lobby for 30 minutes before I was even interviewed.
The receptionist called this manager after I sat there for 10 minutes letting him know his interview was there. 5 Minutes goes by and he walks to the lobby, barely acknowledging me and asking the receptionist who I was. After being told he said that on his calendar it looked like it was 1PM instead of 11AM.
  2. He grabbed my resume to make a copy and asked if I can wait 15 more minutes. Basically so he can speed-read my resume and grab someone else to interview with him. Now it's 11:30AM and he finally comes back to get started.
  3. During the interview I was watching his body language, I'm a firm believer that tells a lot about a person. And quite a bit of time he had his arms crossed and he couldn't make eye contact for a long period of time. He just didn't seem engaged.
  4. He started giving me scenarios and see what I would do. But he prefaced it by saying there are no right or wrong answers. After I answered one of the scenarios his response was "I know I said there were no right or wrong answers, but there is a right answer" He also asked those bad, generic interview questions we've all heard 1,000 times. "What's your greatest strength and weakness?" "Why do you think you are a good fit for this company?" That sort of thing.
  5. The other gentleman in the room didn't have much to say or ask, he was just kind of there.

After all of this I decided that would not want this guy as my supervisor, even if the money was way above what I get paid. I emailed the recruiter and explained that he was 30 minutes late and just was not that interested. I get an email back asking what I'd like to do if an offer came my way, because the one that was supposed to do my interview really liked my resume and declined several people before seeing mine. I was also reassured that if this manager had done the interview it would have gone a lot better. But before I can even answer the email I get another one saying they want me back to meet the actual hiring manager and that it's just a formality before an offer comes.

Would anyone else continue at this point? Obviously taking a new job is always a gamble but going from FTE to ongoing contract with this interviewer being one of my managers fills me with a bit of dread, because I've down this road before. First impressions mean a lot to me but I wanted to hear other peoples takes on this.
