i have been working this new job at a depression clinic for a couple weeks now and for the treatment we provide we have to see the same patients 5 days a week. theres only one female patient that has really gotten comfortable around me. today she was talking about how her sober living was trying to take away her dog and i sympathized with her and made her laugh. she said she thought i was gay and i told her i am not and then she asked if i had a girlfriend which i said i do not. she seemed kinda loopy like she was on new meds. anyway after the treatment she walked up and tried to kiss me. i panicked and turned my head so it landed on my cheek. she said bye and left. a couple minutes later she walked back in and apologized and said it wont happen again. the thing is i do find her attractive and wouldnt mind taking her out. I made a pact with myself that as a healthcare provider never get involved with patients. i think there might even be a law against it.
should i report this to my supervisor? if so shes not in the office so should i call her or wait until tomorrow? or should i just act like nothing happened and move on?
