Is it ok to resign via email?

I plan to resign on at the end of next Monday with 1 months notice. I got something planned in April so I don't want it to be delayed.

Right now we're working remotely due to certain issues so I'm not in the office nor is anyone else.

Since I can't meet my boss in person, can I just email my resignation?

I can try to arrange a call but my boss seems very busy and I really don't want to delay my resignation. Like I said I have something to do in April and don't want my one month notice overlapping with with it
