Long time lurker, but do post every now and then. Posted about a security clearance before, but while waiting for clearance another job came up.
Little background - I didnt even apply to it, a month ago a recruiter contacted me about an IT job that I may be a good fit for. I work in the trucking industry and have for the past 8 years. I live in PA, job is in FL. I have plans to relocate to florida prior.
In a span of 3 weeks, the recruiter set me up with an in person interview in PA and arranged for me to have a flight down to florida to interview with CEO. Last week recruiter asked for 3 professional references, they were all contacted that day, which was wednesday. How long should I wait to follow up? About a week? Everything was moving quickly, then last week it was silence until Wednesday for references and then been silence since. I have the recruiters number and we keep in contact through texting as well. Never met recruiter once, she found me on LinkedIn.
