How to be successful when you’re significantly younger than the rest of your team

I work closely with a group of 15 people at an F200. I graduated in December and started right away after. My hold up is that I’m only 20 and the next youngest person in my group just turned 34 and 9/15 are over 50. I feel absolutely out of place socially and it’s exacerbated by my shyness. I’m very capable and get my stuff done. But even talking to these people can get hard. I usually have lunch with them once a week, but it’s tough for me. I don’t want them to think I don’t like the group, I just struggle to relate to any of their lives. Oddly enough, not having a go to person at work has been tough. During my internships, there was always another intern or younger person I felt comfortable talking to and asking questions. Now it just feels like the classroom dynamic where I’m always addressing teachers. I’d love some thoughts about how to adapt to this climate.
