First Real Interview

I’m 18 and I’ve been looking for a job that I’m passionate about and that will pay more than minimum wage. I finally got an interview at a daycare/school (It’s technically a school but I would be working with toddlers), however I feel under qualified. I don’t have cpr certification or any early childhood education. I only have a year of experience babysitting one toddler. I put on my application that I’m willing to get any thing needed, but I’m a little nervous that it’ll still ruin my chances of getting the job. Also I look very young and I’m petite. I didn’t get hired in the past at a daycare because the owner assumed the kids would “run all over me.” I don’t want the same thing to happen again, because this is my dream job.

I’ve done plenty of interviews for part time jobs, but I feel like this one will be different. It’ll definitely be a more professional setting and I was told the interview will last for an hour. I tend to get extremely nervous which caused me to blank during questions in past interviews. It’s hard for me to hide it or act, so I seem really shy during the interview. Does anybody have any tips or advice? If anyone has been interviewed for a similar position can you can tell me some of the questions asked?
