Switching jobs after a few months

I’m in my mid-20s and started a new job about 5 months ago. I’m considering job hunting again because my company recently started not doing so well financially and I’m worried they’ll start laying off people soon (upper management is pretty concerned and the company has already taken steps to cut costs). Since I’m young and new, I could be one first few to leave if layoffs do come around

I have only held 2 jobs before this one, each for approximately 1.5y

How do I go about applying to new jobs given this situation? On an interview I’m pretty confident I can adequately explain my situation and come up with several other valid points why I’m jumping ship so soon. If references are required, I’m also confident my current manager will give me a great one

My biggest concern is how would I even get to the interview stage? Will most companies trash my resume if they see I’ve been at my current job for only 5 months? Should I leave dates out of my resume?
