Hi,
I have a year experience working as an assistant manager at Radio Shack and another year as a management trainee for Hertz Rental Cars. Plenty of cash handling experience. I also have a Sociology degree with Criminal Justice minor, so I have experience working with the disadvantaged and disabled through those programs through Goodwill.
The assistant manager positions pays $17/hr full-time. Rent around here is $600 for a room. The other position they have are lead sales associates, which are at $15/hr, but pay and I feel job wouldn't be best suited for me.
I also have some interviews coming for tech support jobs, off-my-feet, and full-time and they pay around $15 and $16/hr.
I am wondering if I don't get the assistant manager position, how good is the Goodwill at promotions and moving up? Am I better off with a tech support position?
