Is there a difference between how I should approach an interview with an employer who approached me vs an employer who’s job I applied for?
For the first time, an employer has approached me instead of the other way around, which is super flattering. It’s a big confidence boost, considering I’ve just been made redundant.
When discussing the upcoming interview with a friend, they said that I have the ‘upper hand’ and should approach it differently. Is this true and how should I go about it so I have the best chance of smashing it?
