I've been unemployed for almost a year. I live in a major market in the US (top 10 city) and I can't seem to land a job. People who see my resume think its great, and I have a load of experience with transferable skills. I just can't get in the room with the interviewers often enough, and when I do, I just can't land the job.
Is my Ivy education pricing me out of jobs? Do they think I'm going to demand an unreasonable salary? Should I pursue a similar education at a local College/University so I can get working again? I've got almost no savings left and I need help! I am seriously desperate!

Is my Ivy League education hurting my job chances? Should I get another degree at a non-Ivy?
