Recently interviewed for 2 jobs, both of which told me it would take 2 weeks to a month to hear back from them whether I got the job or not. Not even a week passed for either of them before I logged on the portal today and it said that I was not selected. One of the jobs the hiring manager and interviewer said anybody could do it, they just want to see the best person to interact with the team. I was given a tour by the team and I did not think anything went wrong during it. During the interview I did give brief responses and it seemed they wanted me to say more. When I tried to say more I felt like I was stumbling or repeating my previous statements. Any advice to be a stronger interviewer or candidate? I am currently applying to research assistant positions if that helps in any way.
