Recently offered a new job, on the fence about leaving my current one though.

I’ll preface this with I don’t hate my job, it has amazing perks. I only work Monday thru Thursday so three day weekends every week, I get to work from home pretty much every other two weeks and when I do drive my gas is paid for plus drive time and I basically can’t get fired so a lot of job security. There are also some big negatives, my pay isn’t great to begin with and eventually will be capped and it’s not capped at a very high amount. I don’t get raises really and I’ve also decided that my current role isn’t what I want to do forever and the experience I’m getting only really translates into banking or my role now but the federal sector. Truthfully I’ve been wanting to get into a financial analyst role and I was just offered one, it’s about a 15 percent pay increase, normal working hours and I do think this is a great opportunity but it comes with an hour commute in the morning and after I get off. Do I just go ahead and take the new position since I haven’t had the most luck finding an analyst role or do I hold out for a better offer closer to me with a shorter commute? The perks of my current job don’t have me jumping at the first job offered and I want it to be the right one but I can’t help but feel the time spent at my current job is just time wasted at this point.
