Ok so I work in the mall and I work a job I really like an pays well the only bad thing is that hours suck. So I was looking for another job. I found a job I liked and loved the manager but they never called me back after the interview. Fast forward an entire month, and I have an interview next week with Starbucks. I’m really excited to interview there plus I know the manager because I’m there everyday it’s in the same mall I work at. It seems she really wants me because she forced through my application. All of the sudden the job I applied for and never heard back from for an entire month called me and offered me the job. I was upfront and honest that I presumed I was not a good candidate and went looking for another job and asked if I could have 24 hours to think it over. He seemed displeased and now that I look back on It I’m kind of stupid for saying that but it was so unexpected. I’m torn because this job looks very relaxed, but they are notorious for never promoting making it impossible to grow in the job. Starbucks on the other hand is super great at promoting within making it a good jo for me. I honestly want Starbucks more but considering I haven’t officially been hired, I don’t want to play with luck and pass up the job and also not get the job at sunglass hut. They both pay about the same. Any advice on what I should do? :/
