I've been on the job hunt since I graduated in May. It's been even more difficult because I am trying to relocate and can't travel to a different city just whenever. I have to consider all the expenses and the likeliness of the job being a good match for me. I've had so many phone interviews, and a couple of face interviews at this point. The most promising one was two weeks ago. It was a last minute interview set up by a staffing agency in a city that I was in for other interviews. The interviewer told me I am sharp and even spoke of how I could get on their health insurance if the staffing agency doesn't offer it. Two days later, the staffing agency contacts me to tell me that the company wants another interview, now with the Operations Manager. Done. Two days later, background check. Done. Now, an interview with the CEO and the CFO. Done. The last two interviews were done through Skype since I live 10 hours away. They were understanding but they didn't have a webcam on their end so they could see me and I couldn't see them. It was intimidating. All of this was now a week ago. The staffing agency got back to me today and said the company has one last interview to do before they make a decision. I am SO confused. Why would they conduct a background check and spend that money if they weren't done with their interviews? Are they having second thoughts about me?
