There were two jobs that contacted me, both for administrative assistant roles, where they called my cell, left a voicemail, and then immediately sent me a text message that said something along the lines of "Hi my name is ______ with XYZ company and I'd like to set up a time for a quick call about the job you applied for".
I'm a bit turned off by the immediate text message after they left a voicemail. Is that a red flag? It seems like they're desperate to fill the position.
