So I am 19 years old and I work at this grocery store(Customer Service). It is an alright job and I have been here for 2 years. I started at this job at $8 an hour, now I am at $9.50. The problem is that there are people who who just start and get paid the same amount as me. 1. I feel like I should get paid more considering the fact that I have been there for 2 years compare to the other people that just started. 2. I am in Customer Service which requires a lot more work than the baggers/cashiers that get paid the same amount as me. I feel like I am getting screwed over by this. I have this other job that I can get and get paid more but I would prefer to stay at my current job since I know everyone. But if they don't give me the raise can I take time off till Christmas break so then I can take the other job while I am in college? Then I can just work the grocery store job during college breaks?
