First Time Seasonal Job

Hi everyone.

So I just got hired at the bookstore on my college campus as a seasonal retail worker. How long do seasonal positions usually last? During my interview, she mentioned "rush week" a lot, which is the first week of school where it's the busiest, but I want to make a good impression so they keep me on for longer (if that's how it works- again, I have no idea how these work).

This is my second job, but I'm taking an educational leave from my first one to balance school (17 credit hours) and this new job.

My first day is tomorrow, so I guess I'll find out more then.
