26yr old Job Seeker feeling demoralized

So first off I have a BA and 5+yrs working in Admin and working abroad in Japan. I’ve recently returned to the US and this job market is not as “good” as I thought it would be. I’ve sent out close to 80 applications so far without a call back. Idk what I’m doing wrong since I’ve had several friends look over my resume and had it scanned online through a practice ATS and it came back looking great.

It looks like my options are to either A) get my masters which I can’t do because I can’t take on more debt after undergrad. Or B) do an internship which I can’t do because they require me to be in school or a recent grad (which at 26 I’m not).

Has anyone else been in a similar situation? How long did it take you to find work? Any tips?
