Is this a normal hiring process?

We had a job interview, it went well. We had a second job interview, it went well.

They seem to like me and vice versa. They've told me they'll "definitely follow-up."

Now I've been invited in again to meet some employees to see if we'll all get along.

This has all happened within 3 weeks. I've never experienced this before, it just seems unnecessary and dragged out for no reason. I mean, I'd prefer to get a simple yes or no but whatever I guess.
