I am, to put it lightly, an absolute mess at my job.
I don't have a solid notion of what needs to be done, two of my coworkers (one who is a manager) seem pretty disappointed in me and one of them is really frustrated with me and how slow I am in learning and in general and how dependent I am on them telling me what to do. This is my first job ever, right out of college. I work at a biorepository as a research technician. I've been there less than a month and even though I'm new given the reactions of my coworkers it doesn't seem like I'm handling things well / meeting their expectations. I feel like I'm way too lost for their liking. I always have to ask if they need help with anything in order to have some direction regarding what to do. But I still haven't developed my own notion / understanding of what needs to be done.
Hopefully/maybe I'll get it together, but in the case I don't, how long would it be before they're done giving me chances?
