Reaching out to internal recruiter after 1 year of not talking?

So I had an interview for a job 1 year ago. I did not get the job, unfortunately. I did not get any negative feedback, just "I'll have your information in our system for future opportunities" generic response.

However I noticed the company posted the same job as available just recently.

Would it be acceptable to reach out to that same recruiter after 1 year of not speaking, and express my situation (past interview, and her as the recruiter) and interest in the role??
