Feedback on my tell me about yourself interview question

This is for a retail position.

I’ve worked in retail for more than 3 years and I have extensive experience in dealing with the public in all type of situation. I am capable of helping customers in a professional manner, paying attention to details and deadlines and working in a team environment. I feel like I can translate my experience and be a valuable member to your team.

The last sentence about translating my experience, should I include a few skills from my previous job that can help with the job im applying to?

Also, I only completed high school and I feel like I shouldnt mention it when answering. any feedback is appreciated :)
