Is constant stress from work inevitable?

I graduated a little over a year ago and have been working as an Assistant Project Manager at a small construction company since. I feel like I’m constantly worrying about ongoing issues even when I’m not at work. I am looking to leave, but am I looking for something that doesn’t exist in a job where I can leave stress at work?

My idea is I’d like to have a job where I don’t know what my day’s work will be until I get there so I’m not worrying about work stuff the whole time I’m off work. Is this realistic/do people have jobs like this?
