I'm currently doing an internship and there is a very high chance I will receive a job offer for the following year post-grad. I love the job and the company but I would still like to look at other options as my family does not live in the same state and I would be signing an offer for a few years post-grad. The job offer deadlines are based on your university and NACE Guidelines. My university has a very short deadline and I basically will not have time to look for any other jobs in that timeframe. The other interns go to schools that have deadlines until the beginning/middle of October. Is it okay to ask for an equal timeframe as the other interns? I just feel I'm at a disadvantage because they will have more time to make a proper decision.
