Haven't been asked about salary expectations or references during last job interview

Well, I had 3 interviews via Skype and was invited for a last interview in person this Friday. They paid for flight, hotel, transport and so on. The in person interview was with 6 different people from 6 different departments and lasted about 5 hours. No one mentioned the salary, asked about my expectations or references. In the job opening it wasn't mentioned neither. I have the feeling that it went pretty well. I'm just confused as the salary was never discussed and I've always been asked about it in the past. It's a startup with around 30 employees and the job is marketing related. Just wondering if its a sign that I'm not considered or if this is common during the hiring process.
