What do I say during an interview if asked why I left a job after 5 months if it was the reason I moved to a new city? This was my first job out of college :(
The lab manager acted weird/ cringey around me and told me I was in over my head which got in my head due to anxiety and imposter syndrome. This made it hard for me to ask for help and ended up in me not being able to get a grasp of the job I was hired to do (I didn’t talk to anyone about this). Technically I was fired, but the principle investigator was nice as I had worked hard on other lab duties, so I was offered the choice of a termination or resignation letter. I chose the resignation letter from this job due to it being the honorable thing to do as I wasn’t able to do what I was hired for.
What do I say in an interview if asked why I left?
