I’m currently going through the process of applying for a clearance and I’m realizing that it is quite a lengthy process, it can take up to 6 months. I’m unemployed at the moment but I need some type of income to pay my bills. I have applied to countless positions and I’m starting to hear back from a few companies for phone interviews. I’m worried that I’ll get hired somewhere and then my clearance will be approved and the company will give me a start date. If I interview with other companies should I honestly tell them that I’m not planning to stay for long? Any advice?
