Looking for suggestions on a career path

I'm young so I still have a couple years to go before I really need to make a decision, but I think the earlier I figure it out or at least get a general idea, the more I can research and prepare. I wanted to join the military, but I'm pretty sure I'm disqualified from joining for certain reasons. I don't really want to go to college, so I'm thinking of going into a trade. Not only because of no college, but also because of the good money. Basically, a trade that is closely related to the military would be optimal. I'm female and not really in shape, but as I said, I have years to exercise and change that.
