New employer ran a credit check and mentioned that there are problems but will check again in a while. This is not a finance position. I've paid off all my debt pending an auto loan recently. What are they expecting to see in a few months? An improved score or just not any new problems in credit? How can I improve score soon now that I've paid off my credit cards?
