Don't sell yourself low!!

Ok so I am responsible for hiring mid-level technical support analysts that work in a NOC (Network Operations Center). Usually these staff have 2-3 years experience along with a degree of some type and/or cerifications (CCNA, Net +, etc..). I'm located in the northern Midwest. I'm reading through salary requirements and out of 35-40 applications/resumes, almost every single one of them is asking for 15-25k less than what my staff are making now!! If you have already been working in IT and have experience do NOT sell yourself short! Do not be afraid to ask for the salary that you want! We need you just as bad as you need us!
