Anyone know a successful felon who found a job?

Hi All, My brother recently got out of jail and is having trouble finding a job because he has a felony on his record. The felony is considered a violent crime because he was armed when he was caught. Now that he is out, no one seems ready to hire him. Anyone know of a job that doesn't mind hiring felons? We live in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Tidbit about my bro: He has a kid now and doesn't want his actions to screw over his kid. He doesn't want to go back to crime life but he has told me if no one will hire him he will do what he has to so he can provide for his son. I can't sustain his family and myself (I'm a student) so I'm seeking advice through reddit.
