Everyone always say it is bad when you have gaps between jobs, I just don't see why employers should care. What's the difference from the employer's perspective between someone who hop from one job straight to the next and someone who hop from one job to the next with a few months of personal life in between? If I just give a nondescript answer like "I had emergency family issues to sort out" is this supposed to be a huge red flag?
