Turned down a job offer; now want to accept. Is this a good way to do it?

Little background. I got laid off from my veterinary job of one year (reduction in force - I did nothing wrong, it was on good terms, and my bosses serve as references; they just had to let a couple people go) and was given time to find something else. I got a job offer from my first interview, a clinic that I did like, however they had boarding, which I hate to do but am willing. I had two other clinics without boarding that wanted working interviews with me, where I come in and shadow so they can see how I do. I wouldn't have answers from those clinics by the first one's deadline for their offer (which was already an extension), so I declined the first offer hoping that something would result from the other two. One of them did offer me a job, however the doctor treated his staff like garbage and said some really sketchy things to clients that have been proven as incorrect by countless studies, so I turned it down. The second clinic did not make an offer at all.

Being that I had rejected their offer in the past, I understand totally if they don't want me again. However, the job posting is still up (and was updated a few days ago) and I think it's worth it to at least try and write the manager to see if he would reconsider me as a candidate. The next bit is the email I've written (but have yet to send); is it worded well, or does anyone have any suggestions for me to change it? Sorry if this isn't allowed - just tell me (politely) and I'll delete! Thanks all in advance.

Mr. [manager],

Hope you are doing well! If you recall, I interviewed with you on Tuesday, April 23rd for the veterinary assistant position at [vet clinic]. Unfortunately, I had to decline your offer of the position strictly due to timing; did not want to leave you waiting for my answer while interviewing with other clinics, however I did not want to simply cancel those interviews, and they would not get an answer to me by our discussed deadline. After exploring these other options, it was clear that [vet clinic] was the best opportunity and I regret having declined the offer. Seeing that the posting was still online, if you have yet to fill the position I would be interested in reapplying and would love to be a part of the team there. If the position has since been filled, I understand and am grateful in advance for your time and I hope all goes well.

Sincerely,

[me]
