Left my last position as an outside sales rep after just over a year. The position had a base of 55k plus an EOY bonus. I have been job searching for a few months and it seems that the only sales jobs available are 100% commission. Is this the norm and I just got lucky the first go round? Or there high base sales positions I’m missing?
Also...
I wouldn’t mind getting out of sales and into a more secure, lower stress job. I have a B.S. in Marketing and a year and a half of sales experience. What positions/ industries would mesh well this fairly green background?
