After accepting an internship offer (Finance) to begin this summer, I thoroughly screened the offer letter, employment application, employee agreement for the mention of a drug test and found absolutely nothing. Therefore, I thought I was in the clear to continue to smoke weed up until my internship. Come to find out, the company (Hire Image) that is administering the background check that was mentioned in the offer also has a drug screening service. The name of the background check is the "Hire Image Quick App", and at first glance "Quick App" simply sounded like a form you would fill out upon receipt and then the 3rd party runs their own background check. That's exactly how my last internship was, as the drug test was administered completely separate from the background check. Thankfully I'm going overseas for 2 weeks, 3< days before it says the background check will be sent out, so I have a little time. I guess I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with "Hire Image Quick App" and/or if that includes a drug test. If my verbose and wordy post wasn't indicative, I am freaking out.
TL;DR- Thought I didn't have a drug test, turns out I might... although my employer hasn't mentioned anything explicitly about a drug test.
