Hey r/jobs,
So I just talked to a lady at a local Italian cuisine near me (pretty fancy, medium cost) and landed an interview for a line cook but my interview is tommorow! I have some experience on the line but it’s at chain restaurants that don’t require very much knowledge to be a line cook. The lady asked me what experience I have and I somehow convinced her to interview me. My question is: What do I need to know for an interview to be an Italian cook (probably cooking pasta, steak, chicken etc.) and land this job. Anyone been a cook/chef before and any tips on what I can say to sound like I know what I’m doing? I’m sure when I get the job I can 100% do good work but I need to pass the gatekeeper first. Thank you!
