I recently started working at a job alongside my brother and with our boss. I've noticed recently over the weeks he has been stretching out our work to last all day when it should only last around half. For example; We will schedule one of our routes to go mow, but throughout the day our boss will have us complete different projects during our route when he knows we won't have time to finish it. He also stops by the bank or adds more house to mow on the route as well as talk to the customers for about 20-30 minutes that doesn't involve work (not even joking).
I'm not sure if my brother realizes, but I feel as though he intentionally does this. As a result we usually finish at night and hardly have time to take a shower, eat and get a full 8 hours of sleep. Even though its not a cooperate job, I feel as though I'm doing slave labor for 10 an hour. I don't mind the work, but I still feel trapped in that cage. Do you think I'm overthinking or is it time I should find something else?
