Posting this on behalf of my dad
For about the last 15 years, my dad has just about split his time between working minimum wage retail jobs and having no job. He hates it but it's been very hard to find a company that would offer him a spot working a desk job on a normal 8-5 M-F schedule. He doesn't need to make a lot of money, it would just be nice to have some flexibility in his weekends if my parents wanted to plan a short trip.
I'm stumped on what kind of kind of jobs he could apply for and actually be considered for. His computer skills aren't great so any sort of data entry/entry level analyst positions are not really a possibility. Good personality but bad at selling himself. He's older so no manual labor but standing for the majority of the day is fine. Any suggestions?
