Job Sites versus Company Careers Pages?

I've been checking sites like Indeed, Glassdoor, and LinkedIn every day for 3 weeks and the job selection has been pretty low.

Would I be better off checking the Careers (Open Jobs) pages on company websites instead?

There are a lot of office parks in my city and I'm thinking about visiting a few of them tomorrow to see what businesses are in them, then checking their websites for any job openings they may not be posting on other sites. Is this a good strategy?
