I worked at a fast food place for maybe 2 weeks. The manager texted me today, said he missed me and asked if I'd want to work again during summer break. I thought it was kind of... Weird?

So I'm 17 and I had gotten a job at a fast food place about a month ago. The manager and guy who hired me was willing to work around my school schedule, and was nice about it.

He had given me his # the day he hired me, and would text me my schedule basically. I ended up quitting though, because there was another manager and she was trying to get me to work hours I couldn't, and they were losing employees. Some nights I was the only one there even though I was technically still training.

The other manager asked me twice to come in 11am to 5pm, even after I told her I go to school, and I'm not home until 4pm. She wasn't listening. I quit and got my paycheck and was done.

Today the guy manager texted me, and when I said "oh hey his name" he said "oh, I see you've saved my number"..which was kinda weird.

Then he asked if I had gotten another job yet, and then said "I miss you" and asked me if I'd be interested in working again during my summer break.

I kinda thought the whole thing was a little weird, especially with the saying he misses me? I'm 17 and he's 40+ and he has a wedding ring.

Am I looking too much into this or is it kind of... Off?
