I have been at my job for 9 months, I’ve hated it since the beginning but keep trying to make it work

It’s a bad fit all around. They hired me to do business development, which is my experience. I was sold on a collaborative environment with plenty of support. Well, I am the only person in my office, I literally work alone, no collaboration. I have been trying to make the most of my situation but I truly don’t like it. I think my boss realizes I’m unhappy as well. I’m worried that they will let me go even though I’m performing well. I admittedly, don’t seem very motivated or enthusiastic but still hit my goals. I don’t want to get fired but it’s hard to leave because it pays very well and it’s unlikely that I’ll get the same salary if I go elsewhere.
