So all day today I was doing work on my laptop. I typically leave my phone on silent as it’s usually with me and I’m on it all the time anyway and so I’m able see when I get texts or calls. Today I had it charging and away from me as I was working.
Around 4:50 I decided to take a break and check on my phone’s percentage. I had gotten a call and a voice message from a company I had applied to about a part time job at 2:30. I listened to the message and they recruiter said she was in until 5:00. When I went to call back I got no answer. Eventually 5:00 rolled around and passed.
I told my mom while we were talking for the day and she immediately ripped into me about how I had just ruined my chances at potentially getting the job I applied for since I didn’t notice they called and hadn’t called back “right after”. So now I’m kinda distraught and freaking out. I had been job searching for so long and this would be a nice steady opportunity for me. So did I just blow it?
