I’ve received a job offer from another company and have signed the offer letter conditional on the background and drug screening coming back clear. They’re using a third party background screening company and specifically requested that I allow them to contact all previous employers including my current one. I haven’t given my 2 week notice to my current employer and wanted to wait until the background and drug screen came back and I officially have the job to turn in my 2 week notice. Any advice or recommendations?
